“Before Sophie came along last summer my husband and I led very active lives, spending weekends camping and getting away for scuba diving trips whenever we could. We haven’t let parenthood change this in fact Sophie will be going on her first camping trip very soon… It’s important to me that my daughter grows up to be happy and sociable so we attend lots of mother and baby groups and coffee mornings. She’s already quite fearless and would happily take on our two house rabbits – they’ll have to watch their backs once she starts crawling! I’m currently studying for an MBA and will be going back to work full time in July. We’ve booked Sophie into a nursery nearby but I’m already worried that I’ll miss spending time with her. I’m jealous of all my friends who are stay at home mums!”
